为践行“千村示范、万村整治”工程，以感受中国美丽乡村为契机，美好合伙人林心如、谢娜、杨紫深入乡村，把当地一间闲置村屋改造成“最美乡村民宿”，用有限的资金改善民宿内外环境、邀请好友参与建设、拓展村民活动空间，并完成民宿的建成。在建设“最美乡村民宿”的同时，还将针对村民的居住环境、生活水平、精神文明等方面，为其注入青年力量。最后，嘉宾们把建好的民宿交由当地村民经营，为当地留下一个新的标地和窗口，希望以此带动乡村发展。

著名雕塑艺术家霍丹，他的女友菲菲是个模特。消防支队是要为一救火烈士树雕像。霍丹在途中轿车被石头砸中。砸车人是个傻子，傻子的母亲同意赔偿。霍丹约见律师。霍丹将随意设计的雕塑稿被消防支队打回重新设计。消防队第二次把霍丹的设计稿打回，霍丹自尊心受到伤害。霍丹参加烈士家属表彰会迟到。发现烈士母亲正是傻子的母亲，他的赔偿金是烈士抚恤金。霍丹回家看到烈士救火的场面，他留下了眼泪。霍丹灵感涌动设计稿一气呵成。消防支队留下设计稿。消防队中队长陪同霍丹到烈士家，霍丹坚决地将赔偿金退还给老妈妈。烈士母亲抱头痛哭。霍丹提出要捐赠铜像。在霍丹的工作室里，烈士的母亲看到雕像说“是我儿子，像和我在说话”。霍丹介绍说这尊雕像将与他父亲雕像组成有机一体，名字叫“第二个也是铜像”。霍丹告述女友他要结婚，两人拥抱在一起。
