何雄飞是个喜欢跳拉丁舞的小胖子，有一次逃课去学拉丁舞，被爸爸发现了，爸爸非常生气。但是何雄飞并没有因此放弃，还是依然坚持并喜欢着拉丁舞。拉丁舞老师杨诺给小胖安排了一个小搭档馨蕊，可是馨蕊刚开始不喜欢小胖，嫌他笨。小胖因此更加努力，他觉得是因为他没跳好，馨蕊才讨厌他的。馨蕊被小胖的举动打动了，爸爸也从刚开始的反对，变为支持。为了赢得全国少儿拉丁舞大赛，小胖和馨蕊加紧练习着，准备比赛，但是比赛有人在暗箱操作，最终小胖和馨蕊失掉了比赛。不过他俩的纯真和努力充满了能量，电视台制片人牛犇良心发现，实名举报天龙爸爸指示他给大赛造假的黑幕。小胖自己的拉丁舞之梦实现了，更帮助馨蕊完成了去美国找妈妈的心愿。
